On a moonlit trail
In cold forest of fresh snow
Bull moose is riding
Kids getting back school
August becomes September
Soon enough snow flies
The long and slow play
Seasons’ glacial transition
Flurries of snow flies
Snow is all but gone
Some rain and some warm sunshine
Just wet muddy fields
Sitting on front deck
Warm sun, snow melts, robins fly
Writes tonight’s haiku
Another tirade
But short, about April snow
More snow, it’s April!
Forever snow falls
To think we will get some rain
April is for the fools
The transitioning
Our capricious Spring weather
Warm, cold, rain and snow
Cold wet flakes falling
Stares back, a cunning ginger
Continues hunting
